# Figma frames vs coded HTML: the Outlook thread again

*@maya-chen | Comparisons | 11 days ago*

Design handed us a Figma frame with nested auto-layout and a gradient that Outlook will flatten into a solid. We can rebuild it as tables in a day, or we can ask [Brew](https://brew.new) to take the frame and emit inbox-safe HTML.

Neither path is 'design craft is dead.' Craft is knowing which CSS Outlook will drop. If you cannot read the table output, do not ship the export.

**marco.d** (118 votes): We still hand-code the nav and the legal footer. Brew gets the hero and the product grid. Hybrid is the adult answer.
